Neopristilophus is a of click beetles ( Elateridae) established by Buysson in 1894. Members of this genus are classified within the diverse order Coleoptera. The genus has been documented through numerous observations, with over 800 records on citizen science platforms. As with other elaterids, in this genus possess the characteristic clicking mechanism for righting themselves when overturned.
