Aphricus tenuis

Aphricus tenuis is a species of click beetle in the family Elateridae. The genus Aphricus is relatively obscure, and published biological information for this species is extremely limited. Based on the genus placement, it likely exhibits the characteristic click beetle body plan with an elongated form and the ability to produce an audible 'click' through a prosternal-mesosternal locking mechanism used for righting when overturned.
