Pyticeroides is a of checkered beetles ( Cleridae) containing nine described . The genus was established by Kuwert in 1894. Most species were described by Opitz between 2007 and 2010, with earlier descriptions by Say (1835) and Chapin (1927). Species are distributed in North America, with P. laticornis (broad-horned clerid) being the most historically recognized member.
