Enoclerus coccineus

Enoclerus coccineus is a of checkered beetle in the Cleridae. It occurs in Central America and North America. Two are recognized: E. c. coccineus and E. c. desertus. As a member of the Enoclerus—the largest genus of Cleridae in North America north of Mexico with 32 species—it shares the family trait of bright, bold coloration and predatory habits.
