Enoclerus angustus is a of checkered beetle in the Cleridae. As a member of the Enoclerus—the largest genus in the family with 32 North American species—it belongs to a group known for bright coloration and bold patterning. Like other clerids, it is a rather than a woodborer, though it is frequently associated with dead wood where it hunts other beetles.
