Kuschelina fallax

Kuschelina fallax is a of flea beetle in the Chrysomelidae, tribe Alticini. It was described by F.E. Melsheimer in 1847 and is native to North America. The Kuschelina was established to accommodate species formerly placed in other genera, and K. fallax represents one of the recognized species within this taxonomic group. Like other members of the Alticini, it possesses enlarged hind adapted for jumping.
