Hyetussa is a of jumping spiders ( Salticidae) established by Eugène Simon in 1902. The genus contains at least 11 described distributed across the Americas, from the southern United States through South America to Brazil and Argentina. The type species is Hyetussa simoni. Most species were described by María Elena Galiano in the 1970s, with additional species described more recently from Brazil.
