Anthrobia is a of dwarf spiders in the Linyphiidae, first described by T. Tellkampf in 1844. It contains four , all to the United States. The type species, Anthrobia monmouthia, was described in the same 1844 publication. Two additional species were described by Miller in 2005.

Taxonomic history

The was established by T. Tellkampf in 1844 based on Anthrobia monmouthia from New Jersey. The genus remained for over 160 years until Miller (2005) described two additional : A. coylei and A. whiteleyae. A fourth species, A. acuminata, was transferred into the genus from other Linyphiidae genera.

Conservation status

No formal conservation assessments have been conducted for this . The limited number of observations (14 records on iNaturalist as of source date) suggests it may be genuinely rare or under-recorded due to small size and cryptic habits.
