Lepidargyrus ancorifer is a of plant bug in the Miridae. It has a transcontinental distribution spanning Africa, Europe, Northern Asia (excluding China), and North America. The species was originally described as Apocremnus ancorifer by Fieber in 1858 and later transferred to the Lepidargyrus. As a member of the Miridae, it belongs to one of the largest families of true bugs, commonly known as plant bugs or capsid bugs.
