Misodema is a of planthoppers in the Tropiduchidae, first described by Melichar in 1907. The genus belongs to the Elicinae and tribe Elicini. It contains at least two described : Misodema dubia (Caldwell, 1945) and Misodema reticulata (Melichar, 1906). Members of this genus are part of the diverse tropiduchid planthopper fauna.
