Abolloptera is a of planthoppers in the Issidae, established in 2006 by Gnezdilov & O'Brien. The genus contains a single , Abolloptera bistriata, which occurs in the southern United States and adjacent Mexico. As a member of the tribe Thioniini, it belongs to a group of small, often cryptic planthoppers with limited documented natural history.
