Metcracis

Metcracis is a genus of planthoppers in the family Flatidae, described by Medler in 1993. It belongs to the subfamily Flatoidinae, a group characterized by broad, flattened bodies and wings that often extend beyond the abdomen. Members of this genus are part of the diverse Fulgoroidea superfamily, which includes many economically important planthopper species. The genus is represented by relatively few observations in biodiversity databases.
