Javesella atrata is a of delphacid planthopper in the Delphacidae. The species was originally described as Delphacodes atrata by Osborn in 1938 before being transferred to the Javesella. It is distributed across northern and central North America, with records from Alaska and Canada through the northeastern and midwestern United States.
Distribution
North America: Alaska; Alberta, Canada; Connecticut; Delaware; Illinois. The appears to have a broad northern distribution spanning from subarctic to temperate regions.
